GALÁPAGOS ISLANDS- Ecuador | 2028
Big Animals, Diversity and Adventure
16th October to 23rd October 2028
Galápagos Island | Ecuador | Galápagos Master
Welcome to Earth’s Untamed Frontier
The “Enchanted Islands” of the Galápagos are found in the Pacific Ocean, 926 kilometres west of Ecuador. The Galápagos archipelago is composed of 13 main islands, 7 smaller islands and islets. These islands and their surrounding waters form an Ecuadorian province.
Undoubtedly some of the most spectacular pelagic diving on the planet, this expedition will take you aboard the Galápagos Master liveboard on a trip of a lifetime. If what you’re after is a wildlife experience out of this world, this is it. Our October 2025 trip exceeded expectations above and underwater and we are ready to this all over again!
The Galápagos Master is a stable, steel yacht delivering year-round diving itineraries in the Galapagos Islands. There are 9 en-suite cabins that cater for up to 16 guests onboard. Offering both upper deck and lower deck air-conditioned accommodation with a choice of twin or double beds, each has personal clothing storage and private en suite bathrooms, with centrally heated hot water.
On the middle deck, there's an indoor lounge and dining area, which is fully air-conditioned with comfortable cushioned bench seating and a complete entertainment system. Meals are served buffet-style by the onboard chefs in the indoor dining room with an adjacent cocktail bar. The outer deck has shaded seating which is a great place to relax between dives whilst the upper-level sundeck and cocktail bar is typically where divers gather to relive the days' diving adventures.
The well equipped diving deck provides ample space for all your equipment. Amenities include nitrox fills, equipment storage boxes, rinse tanks, a warm water shower and a 2-tier camera table.
All wildlife images included in this page were taken during our recent trip to Galápagos this past October 2025. This is your opportunity to be one with nature!

Diving Galápagos
Galápagos Islands are one of those rare places where you can dive through hundreds of hammerhead sharks to find a whale shark cruising along. At Darwin you will find silky sharks, sea turtles, giant morays, schooling fish in their thousands, dolphins and other big animals.
At Wolf Island you can expect to see huge Galápagos sharks and eagle rays up close, whilst dives at Cabo Marshall will put you face to face with giant oceanic manta rays or in the midst of a school of millions of black-striped salemas. Macro life is plentiful with Black Coral bushes sheltering seahorses, blennies, nudibranchs, hawk fish and frogfish. Marine iguanas are a unique sight, along with speedy Galápagos penguins and playful sea lions.
This is but a mere taste of why divers consistently proclaim Galápagos to have the healthiest marine life in the Pacific. Whether you’re a photographer or a diver looking to experience this land frontier, we’ll make sure to make this the most productive dive trip you’ve ever had.

Who is this trip for?
This expedition is for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers above and underwater. Bring your wide angle lenses for large whalesharks, schooling hammers and pelagic; pack your portrait and telelenses for the land based adventures. We will be adding an optional land based extension which will be a photography opportunity too.
If you’re not a photographer and want to join us, this is the trip for you too. It’s a sweet melody for the senses.
As a diver, the minimum requirements are advanced or equivalent, have dived within the last 6 months and have at least 60 logged dives. Currents can be quite strong and we will be doing some negative entry dives, so our divers should be comfortable in those environments.
Underwater Photography Workshop
Learn the art of capturing remarkable images during eight days of diving and adventure. This expedition will allow you to progress and finesse your creativity and technique.
For those jumping on the photography train, this expedition will begin with a phone or face to face consultation with Vanessa; a quick healthcheck on your gear and comfort shooting underwater.
Before departing and for those in Sydney, we include a half day dry workshop which will provide you with practical techniques. This is a perfect opportunity to learn how to make your current setup work for you and get those desired images. Stop, think and shoot followed by review and applying feedback.
Throughout the expedition there will be opportunities to review images and plan ahead to get the most out of every dive. We know the struggle, we promise, we have been there before.
Choose adventure, wildlife and nature with us. Galápagos Islands has it all!
