The EDGE Max for the Nikon Z8 borrows design aspects from the popular EDGE Water Housing while featuring the latest advancements in creative camera controls and ergonomics. The EDGE Max features the new X-Handle, X-Grip, updated backplate camera controls, improved zoom control, plus a new robust die-cast aluminium camera mount. Designed and built to cater to the demands of industry-leading professionals and enthusiasts alike the EDGE Max water housing will allow you to take your camera, anywhere.

The EDGE MAX for Nikon Z8 is designed to work with compatible power banks to provide three times the battery life and extend your shooting time in the water. We recommend the Cygnett 20,000 mAh Power Bank. You can use power banks with a maximum size of Length  158mm x Width 74mm x Thickness 23mm.

Handling and Ergonomics

The new X-Handle design allows for a more ergonomic grip and handling and features on the top edge a ¼ 20” insert in the centre and two M5 Inserts spaced at an industry-standard size, allowing for a range of existing accessories. The housing also features the new X-Grip. This strong yet soft and flexible design gives you greater camera control while keeping you closely connected to the water housing and keeping your trigger finger close to the shutter button.

Save time with our quick, simple, robust safety clip system to remove the guesswork of sealing the housing backplate. This proven design lets you easily load your camera with peace of mind knowing your expensive camera equipment is secure.

The housing features two electronic shutter buttons, allowing easy shooting in landscape and portrait orientation. An improved zoom control allows for smoother operation of zoom lenses, while the housing offers three connection ports for different applications with future accessories.
