Solitary Islands are a paradise for subtropical and temperate water species, just a couple hours away from the Queensland border.
We will be visiting the north Solitary Islands, home to turtles, beautiful soft corals and the largest anemone garden in the southern hemisphere. It attracts an array of larger species such as eagle rays, leopard, grey nurse, wobbegong and guitar sharks, with the occasional manta too.
If you love small stuff too, then all the anemone fish, crabs, shrimps, nudibranchs and mantis shrimp are the perfect target for your camera.
If you would like to extend the trip with a quick visit to South West Rocks, then be prepared for shark action and an incredible dive through the longest salt water cave in the southern hemisphere.

Join us from anywhere in Australia! Our first day of diving starts at midday on October 5th, to allow for extended travel requirements. Please be aware that Friday’s alternative accommodation is not included in the price.
